Much more than an anti-theft system
A large manufacturing company is including in its garments a device with information that allows it to remotely control all the merchandise that enters and leaves its facilities, whether it’s a warehouse, a store or trucks where thousands of products are handled until their sale.
The system consists of an RFID antenna with radiofrequency technology, which has a traditional anti-theft device and a thin film with circuits inside which includes data about the garment like model, color and size among others.
This device allows the company to know everything that goes into and out of the store as well as details of each garment that is sold (and instantly find out its success in the market); when the gadget is removed, the system automatically signals the cash register to add the codes of those garments to the list of products the customer is buying.
